The Organ Concert
There was a free organ concert at Roy Thomson Hall on Monday. It started at 12.P.M. Joseph and classmates sat near the stage, so we could watch the performance clearly. The organist's name is David Baskeyfield. He is only thirty-one years old and a handsome man. He has ever won the champion of 2014 Canadian International Organ Competition. He played seven pieces of songs. It was amazing that he can play by hands and by feet at the same time. He bowed to audiences after every piece was over. Be honest, I don't like the sound of the organ. I would feel sad when I listened to this kind of music. But I have to say he is an excellent musician. He plays very well. By the way, there was a piece that I listened to before. It is the background music of the documentary named Civilization.
The concert lasted about one and half an hour. It was wonderful. Were we more Canadian after watching the concert of classical music, eh? LOL!

AGO, GO
This is the third time I have been to AGO. I was still excited because I went there with my teachers and classmates. We took part in a quiz that we should find some famous works of AGO, including the name of the works, painter, the year of the painting etc. It's hard to be finished because there are plenty of works in AGO. I enjoyed my trip instead of the quiz. Yucho and I found the masterpiece of William Kurelek "The Rock". I also knew the painter of my favorite painting is William Kurelek. Joseph showed us the unique design of the AGO and introduced OCAD University which is well known of art. I have even known what the Italian Gallery is. It's a pity I didn't find the Picasso's painting this time.
This is the Picasso's painting in AGO. I took photo previously.
This is my favorite painting. The painter is William Kurelek.

The Trip to The Job Fair
I participated a Job Fair at North York Civic Center this Tuesday. When I arrived there, I couldn't find the real place. It was lucky to meet Yocho, Meizi and Chanyong. But we didn't find the place until we saw Joseph. He waited us at library because the Job Fair had changed the site.
Many enterprises prepared booths. Some job seekers brought their resumes and put them into the register table. They were all in formal dress. We were audiences and just want to know what the Job Fair was. So we felt leisure. We saw many kinds of businesses, such as home services, food factory, retailer etc. We even saw a organization was hunting police. Maybe the space was too small, and so many people were in. I sweated half an hour later. So we decided to attend a lecture.
The lecture was about how to prepare interview. The reporter told us some tricks. My English was still poor and he talked fast. So I couldn't catch with him and understand all of his points. I felt boring. We left there about 11 A.M.
This is precious experience. I should prepare enough next time.
Is it easy to learn English?
How to learn English? It was easy for me when I was in China. I read many articles and caught the main meaning of these articles and wrote short articles about some fixed themes, then I can get high marks in my English test. Because the English test in China focuses on your reading and writing capacity, not listening and speaking. All changed when I came to Canada. I can't communicate with anybody. I can't say any words and understand what other people say.
What's wrong with my English? Do I learn my English according to the previous methods? Of course the answer is not. I met a volunteer in an English conversation circle. He told me the important thing to learn English is practice. I should try to speak English with the others. It's never mind even if I make mistakes. He also gave me skills to improve my English, such as listening to the radio when I have free time, watching TV News and so on. If I have understood what the others say, I would speak better and better.
I listen CBC Radio1 every night. I can't understand when I started. But I improved gradually. I have known the weather or highlight today. I came to LINC school in September. I met amazing teacher and classmates. I try to communicate with them in English. I feel my English improved, especially speaking and writing.
Is it easy to learn English? It's difficult for me now. But I believe I can conquer it. Try my best and keep it up!

3.I'll get on the horn first thing in the morning to see what I can find out.I might email them and ask them to check with the embassy or consulate there to be sure. This party is really shaping up.
